PROJECT OVERVIEW:
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Headquarters building, a14-story, $131 million office property represents the first phase of commercial office development in the North Bethesda Center project, a 2.7 million square foot mixed-use project located adjacent to the White Flint Metrorail station. Designed to meet LEED Silver standards, the 362,000-square-foot building is located immediately north of the existing NRC headquarters complex, and will be occupied by approximately 1,300 employees.

LCOR'S ROLE:
Citing a long-standing track record with government agencies, the U.S. General Services Administration signed a 15-year lease in 2009 for LCOR to develop the property. Expanding its role as master developer of North Bethesda Center, LCOR will oversee all facets of development, design, construction and property management.

VALUE CREATED:
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission building brings one of Montgomery County's largest employers to the North Bethesda Center project and represents the largest office lease signed in suburban Maryland in 2009. Construction commenced in June 2010, with completion expected by September 2012.
