LCOR Sells Out Charleston Condo in New York City

NEW YORK (July 22, 2008) — LCOR Senior Vice President David Sigman said today that the company has sold all 191 units at The Charleston, a luxury 22-story residential condominium located at 225 East 34th Street.

According to Sigman, “The Charleston offered buyers a very appealing selection of one, two and three bedroom apartments with a modern, sophisticated design. Most residences enjoy the added benefit of outdoor space with a balcony or terrace, many with dramatic Manhattan views, including the Empire State Building.”

Designed by SLCE Architects, careful consideration was given to the layouts, with handsome details and finishes and a portfolio of premiere resident amenities, including a rooftop dog run, fitness facility, media lounge, catering kitchen and an outdoor garden terrace. All residences have ceilings at least nine feet high, large, open kitchens and luxurious bathrooms with stone finishes and premium fixtures.

“All these assets combined made The Charleston a very solid investment for homeowners looking for good value and handsome design,” Sigman said.

Located at Murray Hill, the convenient Eastside setting offers access to public transportation, the Midtown Tunnel and FDR Drive. The neighborhood is a leafy residential enclave that retains much of its old Manhattan charm. The area has developed into a thriving retail and entertainment district, with popular bars, cafes and the Loews Kips Bay movie complex.
