Bank Street Commons Emerges as Residential Centerpiece of White Plains Renaissance

WHITE PLAINS, NY (March 2, 2005) — Bank Street Commons, the 502-unit residential community located in the heart of downtown White Plains, has emerged as a focal point of the city's fast-moving revitalization.

Comprised of two high-rise towers and a single-story fitness facility, Bank Street Commons is located within walking distance of numerous shopping, dining, entertainment and nightlife venues. The property is directly adjacent to the Metro-North Railroad Station.

Gilpatric said that Bank Street Commons has found a highly responsive market and that leasing at the site has stabilized at a level exceeding 90 percent.

Gilpatric also said LCOR soon will be announcing final plans for new retail amenities for the site.

Bank Street Commons offers residents a choice of three types of units: a 750-square-foot, one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment; a 950-square-foot, two-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment; and a 1,150-square-foot, two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment.

All pre-wired for Internet and cable access, the apartments feature full-sized, stackable washers and dryers, large closets, spacious designer kitchens with breakfast bars, and multiple phone lines.
