LCOR Tops Out on Construction of Two Office and Retail Buildings in the Carlyle Area of Alexandria, Va.

BETHESDA, Md. (July 15, 2008) — The Washington, D.C. regional office of LCOR Incorporated, the real estate development and investment company, announced today that it has topped out on construction of two Class-A office buildings in the Carlyle area of Alexandria, Va. The four-story office and retail buildings are located at 1920 and 2050 Ballenger Avenue.

Construction on the combined $58 million development began in June 2007. The buildings, with 91,000 square feet of office space and 37,000 square feet of retail space, will be ready for occupancy in December.

“We’re actively marketing the spaces now,” said R. William Hard, Executive Vice President of LCOR. “These sites are adjacent to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office headquarters campus, and across from a new Westin hotel that opened last year. The infill location is particularly attractive to organizations doing business with PTO or wanting to be located in close proximity to downtown Washington or Capitol Hill.”

The two corner buildings are a short walk from both the King Street and Eisenhower Avenue Metro stations, directly accessible to Interstate 495, convenient to the Ronald Reagan National Airport, and minutes from downtown Washington, D.C.

LCOR’s project team includes general contractor Turner Construction (Arlington, Va.) and architect Still & Svitchan Associates (Washington, D.C.). Transwestern Retail (Washington, D.C.) is providing retail brokerage services, with CB Richard Ellis (Tysons Corner, Va.) serving as office broker. LCOR will own and manage the buildings.
