25 Broad Street at the Exchange is a 21-story, 308-unit luxury rental building located in Manhattan’s Financial District adjacent to the New York Stock Exchange. A pre-war, federally landmarked building with high ceilings and Italian Renaissance revival-style architecture, the property was originally constructed as a bank and was in the process of redevelopment to a luxury condominium in 2005, when the recession severely impacted sales and the building ultimately fell into receivership. LCOR was designated to restore its value and return it to the market as a luxury rental property. Leasing began in the spring of 2011 after extensive interior renovations to the public areas, a revamped amenities package, and a revised marketing strategy. The spacious apartments feature condo-quality finishes, open gourmet kitchens, high ceilings and washer/dryers. Extensive amenities include a 24-hour doorman, a residents’ lounge, game room, children’s playroom, 3D golf simulator, fitness center with yoga studio, extra laundry facilities, storage space and landscaped outdoor spaces.
